When booking a Keepsake Collections Baby Plan, you can add on the Cake Smash & Bubble session for over 50% off the regular price. Our photographer comes to you, bringing everything needed to have the session. All you do is provide the cake (and we can even provide a matching cake for a small additional charge). When the session is over, we clean up the whole mess while you take baby to the bath – or outside to hose them down!
2. They are fun for everyone.
Parents love watching their baby have fun getting messy, and with proper preparation, most babies love it too! We suggest allowing your little one to get messy with certain foods – spaghetti, pudding and ice cream are great – before the cake smash. This teaches them that it is okay to get dirty and they will not get in trouble. It also introduces them to the textures on their hands. Since each baby is different, each session is fun to watch, whether baby loves or hates the cake!
3. Parents have less stress at the birthday party.
Parents typically find they are less stressed at the birthday party (or stressed for other reasons!) because they know we have captured an entire session of their baby with the cake. This allows them to be more in the moment at the party, capturing all the aspects on camera, not just baby with the cake. Many even like displaying a large image from the session at the party for their guests to enjoy.

5. The session also includes the Bubble Session.
After baby has destroyed the cake and there is frosting everywhere, we bring out the tub, rubber duckies and bubble machine for a fun bath time session. At this age babies love splashing in the water and playing with the bubbles. We love the expressions captured during this part of the session. While it doesn’t clean baby completely, it helps get them ready for the real bath right after.
